This LifeSiteNews article has more details on the abortion bill defeat.

But it is important to note the fight isn't over against changes to NSW laws. Labor Penny Sharpe MLC's bill to introduce a 150 metre buffer zone around abortion clinics remains tabled in the Legislative Council and will likely be debated at some stage. We need to oppose this buffer zone which has already been implemented in Tasmania, New South Wales in Victoria. They do nothing to help women and in fact deny them the right to seek information about alternatives to abortion. For more reasons to oppose them see 10 reasons to oppose abortion clinic buffer zones (note the article was written for Victoria but the reasons are relevant elsewhere).
