In an open letter to South Australians (The Advertiser 5/6/21) a group of 850 Medical Doctors and Health Professionals in Australia [Health Professionals Say NO!] stated "All South Australian citizens have a responsibility to influence their Members of Parliament to protect the vulnerable."
They said:
We represent 850 health care professionals concerned by the sloganistic debate surrounding physician assisted suicide. We represent 850 health care professionals concerned by the sloganistic debate surrounding physician assistedsuicide and VAD legislation."
