Victorian election 2014

The Victorian election on 29 November 2014 is fast approaching and we urge you to consider the life issues when placing your vote in the ballot box.
We are currently running campaigns against the sitting MP's in the electorates of Mulgrave, Cranbourne, Bendigo East, Bellarine and Yan Yean. This includes a combination of dropping brochures in letter boxes and advertising in local papers. We are also running a positive campaign supporting Geoff Shaw in Frankston.
In order to find out who is pro-life in your electorate:
First you need to check your electorate, as Victoria has recently had a major redistribution to take account of rapid population changes in the state. Either go to online, or you can ring the Victorian Electoral Commission directly on 131 832.
Then you can check our table which outlines who to vote first and or last. This table only covers those electorates which have a candidate who has a voting record on the Abortion Law Reform Act 2008, or if the candidate is a member of EMILY's List (an organisation who supports access to abortion in all cases).
If your electorate is not listed, you may wish to vote for a candidate from a party which specifically opposes abortion (for instance Family First, Democratic Labor Party, Rise Up Australia and Australian Christians). Or you may wish to contact your candidates directly and ask them what their personal views are on the rights of the unborn. Go to to check who your candidates are.
PS Please assist us in our campaign by donating funds to us. You can donate online via our website, post a cheque to PO Box 2029 East Brunswick VIC 3057, or ring us during business hours only at 03 9385 0100 and provide us your credit card details.
